There is a bonus to this annual requirement however, as everyone gets an extra hour in bed on Sunday morning.

The presentation took place in the council chamber at county hall, in conjunction with the J.P.McManus Foundation. There are no judges remarks or scores available to hand at the moment. We would like to congratulate heartily Kilteely Tidy Towns for winning the overall award. Many thanks to Jimmy Mulqueen, Liam Foley and Mike Moore who assisted in clearing the grow bags and their contents from the wall at the roundabout last weekend. Our table quiz will go ahead this Friday night at 9pm in the Cu Chulainn, and we look forward to it being well supported again. As well as the usual table prizes, there will be a raffle for numerous spot prizes, and it’s still only 20Euro for a table of four.
