TIDY TOWNS

It has come to our attention that County Councillor Leonard Enright was responsible

for instigating the improvements to the bus stop area opposite the Dragon I restaurant, which were completed just before Christmas, and used his discretionary allowance for that purpose, for which we are extremely grateful. He is also chasing up a few other jobs on our behalf which are on our list of priorities and improvements for the coming year. Thank you Leonard.

NEW DRY CLEANING SERVICE

It was with regret that the Washboard Dry Cleaners closed their outlet in Patrickswell at the end of last year. A replacement facility is already in place however, by way

of a collection service which is being operated from Helen McDermott’s Food Store on Main Street. All garments can be brought during the store’s opening hours which are from 8am until 8pm seven days a week, except for 7pm on Sundays. Finished articles will be returned to the store on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Helen and staff will be on hand to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
