TIDY TOWNS
A reminder to all members that our first meeting of 2011 will take place on Tuesday January 25 in the Cu Chulainn commencing at 8pm. Following on from our appeal for assistance with improvements to the wall at the shrine, we are making another appeal for assistance with another project. We are anxious to procure a few loads of material with which to fill in an area adjacent to the railings at the roundabout, and then a load, or two, of topsoil to enable us to level off and reseed that area and the bank approaching the village from the Limerick end. They are relatively minor jobs, and will greatly enhance the appearance of that area, and also make it easier to maintain. We haven’t the machinery or resources to do this on our own, so if any local contractors, machine operators or truck drivers or anyone else can help us out, we, and the community would be extremely grateful. Please contact Sam on 087- 4127786 or 397143, or Mossie Carmody, if you can be of assistance.
