COLLECTION

The recent church gate collection for the Redemptorists Poor Campaign was well supported and the organisers would like to thank everyone for their generosity to this annual appeal.

TIDY TOWNS

As we end another year we would like to thank everyone who has contributed to our efforts, not only during the past year, but for the ten years which we have been in existence. From small acorns mighty oak trees grow and we are now twenty two in number. We have been encouraged by offers of help for next year already, and others who have promised to join us, which will enable us to make even more improvements to our surroundings. Unfortunately we are unable to inform you of the results of Limerick in Bloom as the presentations are late this year. We may know in time to include it in the weekly parish newsletter. Until then,  Go raibh síochán na Nollag agus Bliain Nua faoi shéan 's faoi shonas ort 's ar do mhuintir.

Another golfing season has passed and already plans are afoot for 2011. We would like to sincerely thank all of our sponsors for the year and wish them every success in their businesses in the future. Congratulations to all the winners of our outings and a special well done to Captain John O’Brien on a great year. We had great turnouts of members this year and hopefully we can keep up the same for the New Year. Our deepest sympathies to those who suffered bereavements during the year and congratulations to those who had additions to their families in 2010.
So on behalf of the Society we wish all our members and their families and  our sponsors a Very Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year. Enjoy your golf over the holiday period and keep the clubs sharpened for the new season in 2011.
