CREDIT UNION

Now that the summer is over and the school routine is back in full swing, we would like to remind all the school children and their parents that MPCC Credit Union operates school savings schemes in some of the National Schools in the local area including Patrickswell, St. Paul’s, Ballybrown, Crecora and Lets Educate Together in Mungret. The main aim of the school credit union is to encourage the children to adopt a regular savings habit from an early age and thereby to sow the seeds of good financial management for the future. It also gives the children a sense of independence and responsibility. Saving is a habit and good habits formed early in life tend to remain in place throughout life. MPCC is your local credit union and everyone living or working in the local area is more than welcome to become a member and open an account. Please contact the school or MPCC credit union directly for further details. The credit union’s website is www.mpcccreditunion.ie. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the children, their parents, guardians, the teaching staff and management in each of the schools for their support in the operation of the school savings scheme.
