RADIO PROGRAMME
This Friday February 26, Patrickswell takes to the airwaves, when West Limerick Radio 102fm, will be live on air from the Community Resource Centre. The programme starts at 11.30am, and will continue for approximately four hours. Local people will be speaking on a range of topics throughout the programme. Please give them, the Resource Centre and the Community Council as much support as possible, by tuning in to listen to what promises to be an interesting and entertaining morning, live from our very own locality.

TRÓCAIRE
Boxes are now available from the church porch for those who wish to take part in this year’s Lenten Campaign which is focusing on rural hunger and poverty in developing countries. An alternative is to use the appropriate envelop in the envelope box to make a donation if you prefer.
EXPOSITION
During the Sundays of Lent there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after the 10am mass, and also on the Saturdays in the prayer room from 9am until 12noon. Please add your name to the sheet provided in the porch if you are willing to commit to spending some time in prayer on the Saturday morning.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION
The organisers of last weekend’s church gate collection wish to thank all concerned for their generosity towards St.Vincent’s Centre, Lisnagry.
BLUEBERRY ART GALLERY
In its ongoing policy of promoting the most interesting and evolving Irish artists, the gallery is now proudly hosting some new works. A stained glass weekend workshop will commence in March, and a new class in the art of jewellery making is also envisaged in the not too distant future, for more details contact info@aesop.ie
COLÁISTE CHIARÁIN
Every parent or guardian of a student enrolled in the school is automatically a member of the Parents Association. The Parents Council has 18 Parents Representatives who were elected at our AGM in 2009. Our next AGM will be held in Autumn 2010. The Parents Council meets every month and if you would like any information please contact the Chairperson on 061-397920.
BLOOD DONORS
Thank you to everyone who attended recent clinics and helped enormously to replenish the blood supply. A donor clinic will be held in Scoile Ida, Corbally, on Monday March 1 from 6-9pm. You can visit any blood donor clinic as long as ninety days have elapsed since you last gave blood. There will be clinics in Abbeyfeale and Galbally next week.

This year’s festival takes place during the month of May, 1st to 31st, and is being

HAVE- A – BREAK
This is a home based respite scheme which facilitates host carers to take children with Special Needs into their home for a well earned break, and opens up opportunities and friendships for the child and the host carer. Previous experience is not required, training will be provided, and expenses are also paid.
