PILGRIMAGE: Following on from the success of the trip to the Holy land at the end of last year, Joan O’Brien and Dan O’Riordan are organising a ten day pilgrimage to Italy and Medjugorje. The itinerary includes three nights in San Giovani, and four nights in Medjugorje.  Flying out from Dublin to Naples on June 11, and returning from Dubrovnic to Dublin on June 20, the cost will be 829Euro. ZUMBA FITNESS: Local Zumba classes have recommenced in the following locations after the Christmas recess. Adare Village Hall, Tuesdays from 9-30 to10-30am, Patrickswell GAA Hall on Tuesdays from 8-9pm, and Ballingarry Village Hall on Wednesdays from 8-30 to 9-30pm.

RESOURCE CENTRE: The Resource Centre is fully up and running after the Christmas break. All information and advice services are available, and all weekly activities including the Parent and Toddler Group, the 45 drive and the Crafty Corner Group are back on schedule. COMMUNITY GAMES: Crecora-Patrickswell Community Games will be holding information and registration nights in both Crecora and Patrickswell over the next week. The first will be held in the Patrickswell Community Resource Centre this Thursday January 12 from 7 to 8pm. The second will be held in the Crecora Community Centre on Monday January 16 from 7 to 8pm. Registration fees have been reduced this year and are €10 per individual and €20 for a family. Last year Crecora -Patrickswell competed in the following events, Chess, Indoor Soccer, Primary School Quiz, Art, Handwriting, Talent, Soccer, Hurling, Futsal, Cross Country and Track Athletics, Camogie, Tag Rugby, Pitch and Putt and Swimming and also hosted our own Athletics Day. The aim of Community Games is to allow children of all abilities an opportunity to get involved in many different activities. Come along to one of the registration nights if you would like to find out more about what the Community Games has to offer. Details will also be circulated through the National Schools in Crecora and Patrickswell.
