40TH BIRTHDAY
Congratulations to Frankie Dillon of Laurel Park who recently reached his milestone fortieth birthday. A lively crowd of family and friends gathered at Punch’s Bar on Saturday to help this popular fellow celebrate the occasion in grand style.

GRAVEYARD
Members of the graveyard committee have expressed their concerns that wreaths, some newly placed, have been removed from graves and deposited in the refuse container. On discovering this, the wreaths were duly replaced, only for the same thing to happen a few days later. This is a disturbing development for those whose loved ones are at rest, and whose graves are affected, and the committee is making enquiries with the appropriate department of the County Council, to see if the removal of the wreaths has been carried out officially. If this is not the case, their removal is an act of vandalism and desecration. Either way, the committee is anxious to prevent a re-occurrence, and is viewing the situation very seriously.
